10 Things I want to Achieve by 30

Essentially, this is 10 things I want to achieve before the age of 30. Not gonna lie, now that I am 25, it doesn’t give me much room to move!

Is anyone else feeling like their lives are flashing before their eyes and they have so much they want to achieve but so little time? YEP! This girl too!

Here are 10 things I want to achieve before I’m 30

1. Get Married

My boyfriend Mitch, and I have been together sing we were babies. 6.5 years to be exact! One thing I dreamt about as a little girl was weddings. I lurrrveee weddings! They are so happy, filled with joy and laughter and I cannot wait to spend that special day with all our friends and family. We don’t have any specific plans yet, but its definitely on the cards in the next couple of years!

2. Have Kids

For as long as I can remember, I’ve always wanted to have kids pretty young; at the age of 25. Now that I am 25, I can honestly say personally, I’m nowhere near ready! I still consider myself a baby, so I think at this stage of my life, I’d love to have kids at around 28-29.

3. Travel

I am 25 years old and have never travelled. Yeah, I’ve been on your weekend getaway to the beach and snow, but i’ve actually never been overseas and I long for it so bad. I’m so glad Mitch also has this issue because it will make travelling overseas that much more special.

4. Live Abroad

Following on from my last point, one thing we feel is really important for us is living abroad at least once in our life. I dream to live in the UK. My family are from there, so let’s call it ‘calling me home’. Don’t get me wrong, I love living in Australia, I just feel so secluded and lonely here, and I’ve just never felt ‘at home’. Mitch’s parents are from Holland so he’s pretty much feeling the same way which is deffs a plus!

5. Pay off my HECS debt

A little while ago I tried University, however, it wasn’t for me. Because of this, I have a smallish student loan (or HECS debt here in Aus) that I would like to pay off. I think that’s achievable in 5 years!

6. Do something that scares me

One thing I consistently struggle with is jumping out of my comfort zone. I am so anxious and scared about everything that I never stop to enjoy things and miss out on things that scare me. One thing I have missed out on are music festivals. I’ve never been because the crowds and environment completely terrify me. So! I would LOVE to work on this to be able to one day go to one!

7. Go Self Employed

One thing that I’ve always wanted for as long as I can remember is to be my own boss. I would love to start a business online, I know this takes such hard work, but with dedication, I think anyone can do what they set out to! So, this is a goal I’d LOVE to achieve by 30.

9. Go on a cruise

When I was around 10 I went on a cruise to New Caledonia. It was such a great experience but I couldn’t enjoy everything being so young. I would love to go on a cruise again with the boyfie and travel to a couple of islands, swim with the dolphins and just have an amazing beachy, summer holidayyy. That sounds Devine!

8. Learn to play Keyboard

Since I was little I have been very musically orientated. I love singing and playing guitar and own a couple of guitars. One thing I would LOVE to play is keyboard. I just love anyone who plays anything but keyboards are just heavenly for me! Haha (and yes, my boyfriend does play keyboard 👌🏻☺️)

10. Adventures

I am incredibly curious at heart and love to explore. I can’t wait to go on more adventures with Mitch and explore the world. Especially since we want to travel more. Gah, I’m just so excited for what life will bring!

Well, there you have it! 10 things I want to achieve by the age of 30. This was surprisingly difficult as it’s not usually something we think hard about. I highly recommend it to anyone.
